- Be Literal: Avoid sarcasm or "reading between the lines."
- Clear Steps: Give instructions one at a time.
- Predictability: Give warnings before route changes or seat moves.

- Short Directions: Use 5 words or less.
- Patience: They may need you to repeat the rule calmly.
- Positive Reinforcement: Notice when they ARE sitting correctly.
Behavioral

- Don't Argue: They want the tug-of-war. Drop the rope.
- Give Space: Stay neutral and don't crowd their personal space.
- Offer Choices: "You can sit in your seat or we stay here."
